Diane’s Story
Diane was diagnosed with MS in 2001 after experiencing symptoms of numbness and temporary loss of function in her right hand and leg.
Amid a house move, balancing life with a one-year-old and her MS diagnosis, there was a lot of confusion in her life. Diane worked through anger, denial, depression, and fear, and eventually found the strength and support to manage the uncertainty that came with her diagnosis.
Together with her neurologist, they made a plan for her treatment. Diane lost some weight, learned about her triggers, and got organized with her new routine. With self-awareness and a strong support network, she had a second child and now enjoys a fulfilling life of teaching piano part-time, working on her family farm, volunteering locally and internationally, and traveling to Europe every year.
Switching to TASCENSO ODT
Diane had been stable on Gilenya® (fingolimod) capsules, but was switched to generic fingolimod capsules due to insurance. Knowing Diane likes to stay on top of her medication and routine, her neurologist recommended she switch to TASCENSO ODT to avoid inconsistencies in generic medication and for access to individualized support.
After doing her own research, Diane agreed to the switch to TASCENSO ODT, a fingolimod she could rely on for consistency with her medication.

Between running a home piano studio, a farm, volunteering, and travelling, Diane found convenience in the packaging and orally disintegrating tablet formulation of TASCENSO ODT. It means she can take TASCENSO ODT in a matter of seconds, with or without water, anywhere, even on an airplane.
