Meet Taia
Overview
- 25 years old
- Diagnosed with MS when she was 23 years old
- Found the treatment options available overwhelming
- Felt reassured and supported by Cycle Vita™ when she didn’t know what to expect
Taia’s story
Taia’s first symptom of her MS was in 2021, when her vision went blurry and doubled at the same time. She was stunned by the diagnosis and found it hard being diagnosed with MS. She cried, as did her mum, and she found the process very scary, saying she fretted a lot over it because it was so unknown.
Her neurologist gave her a long list of treatment options she could choose from, but Taia was overwhelmed by the options. She knew that she didn’t want to use needles, but she didn’t want to choose something herself.
Choosing TASCENSO ODT® (fingolimod) - an easy-to-swallow, orally disintegrating tablet
Taia spoke to a different neurologist and told them what she didn’t want, and she was prescribed TASCENSO ODT.
It is estimated that up to 25% of adults have a fear of needles.¹ Find out how TASCENSO ODT is an alternative to injection-based treatments.
“I look forward to taking it every morning because it's still so neat to me.”
Taia was intrigued by the orally disintegrating tablet and she likes how quick it is to take.
“It's been a really smooth process.”
After worrying about her diagnosis and the options available to her, Taia was relieved to find her enrollment experience a breeze. She still had some concerns and found the idea of her in-home First Dose Observation scary, but she said she felt normal the whole time.

Cycle Vita delivers individualized product support* at every step
Taia found the Cycle Vita Clinical Education team very supportive and reassuring, especially at the beginning when her diagnosis was still new to her. She appreciated how her dedicated Clinical Education Manager took her time to explain everything to her in detail and offer guidance whenever she needed it.
“It’s been reassuring to know someone that knows more about it, especially when you don't, and to have their knowledge and their reassurance and comfort. It helps a lot.”
Another thing Taia has found she doesn’t need to worry about is remembering to order her refill, as by the time she realizes she needs to order it, the Cycle Vita team has already contacted her to remind her.

Recommending TASCENSO ODT - it’s time for convenience
Taia would recommend TASCENSO ODT to anyone, especially people who hate taking medicine because she says it’s not like you’re even taking medicine – it’s just a two-second open, pop, and go.
She’s described her experience with TASCENSO ODT as a really smooth process, that’s almost been flawless with no complaints.
